The Conference

Two Days of Spiritual Renewal
October 25-26, 2024

In a world broken by sin, reasons to lament abound. We’ve lost loved ones. We’ve been wounded in relationships. We’ve failed, and others have failed us. Thankfully, God has blessed us by designing certain portions of his Word to help us lament without losing hope.

Join us for our 11th annual Spiritual Life Conference on October 25-26 as we consider how to lament in light of the gospel. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Ken Langley, will lead us through Psalms 42 and 130—Psalms of lament that model godly mourning without losing sight of God’s goodness. No matter what stage of life you’re in, you need to be prepared to lament honestly and without sacrificing the joy of the Lord. Come and consider this important topic at this year’s Spiritual Life Conference.

Martin Luther reminds us that lamenting is a temporary challenge. He said, “Therefore the lamenting does not have to last forever, even though it seems and feels that way when we are in it. But even though we cannot see or determine the end, Christ has already done so…. Even though we do not see the end, we must wait for Him who says: ‘I will put an end to it and will again comfort you and give you joy.’

Childcare will be provided.

Jon Anzardo

Jon grew up in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. It was in college when Jesus saved him and redirected his life toward ministry. He loves good chats about theology, pop culture, and everything Seinfeld over a good cup of coffee. Jon married Kirsten, and together they share the joy of being the parents of four children.

Jon and Kirsten served as missionaries in Jamaica, and Jon completed an MDiv. degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary before Jon became Pastor to Maranatha Grace.

Together they have a passion to see people’s lives transformed by the radical, beautiful grace of God. They want to live life together on mission to the glory of God.
